Carp Village Tutoring and Literacy Centre

Carp Village Tutoirng and Literacy Centre offers tutoring services for math and English assisting students who want to reach ahead or understand a particular concept. Additionally, the Centre offers intervention services for math and English up to grade 8 where math instruction is hands-on focusing on building a solid foundation of skills first like number sense. English literacy instruction is also hands-on and interactve using morphology (word elements) as the binding agent between word meaning, orthography (letters and patterns) and phonology (sounds). Staff apply logical reasoning to all instruction.
