It all started around a campfire.

Four years ago, two Families met as neighbors at a campsite and quickly became more than just friends - we became Famiglia. Bonded by shared meals, laughter, and love for honest homemade food, we discovered we had more in common than we thought: both our families live with gluten and lactose sensitivities, and diabetes runs in our roots...

Out of necessity (and a bit of nostalgia), we began crafting our own jams, salsas, pickled goods, and pasta sauces at the campsite using recipes passed down through generations.

What began as a way to enjoy safe and delicious food turned into something more - fellow campers started asking if they could buy our goods, and just like that, the spark of Nonna's Block Homestyle Foods was lit!

Today, we proudly cook in a certified commercial gluten-free kitchen, staying true to the heart of our mission: To provide fresh, locally sourced, homemade foods from our ancestor's kitchens that are gluten-free, lactose-free, and diabetic-friendly - all at prices families can afford.
